Cody Hankerson is the associate director for Energy and Environment Campaigns at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, he worked on multiple campaigns and at organizations dedicated to educating and mobilizing voters across the United States. He earned a degree in biology from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. He now spends his free time exploring the hiking trails of Minnesota with his wife and hound dog.
