Fiona Fitzpatrick is a research associate on the Conservation Policy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Fitzpatrick worked as a research assistant for the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources, as a legislative session aide in the Washington State Senate, and as an intern with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Fitzpatrick received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Denver, where she also minored in biology and English. In her free time, Fitzpatrick enjoys skiing, reading, hiking, canoeing, and exploring America’s public lands.
