Mursalina Amin is a development assistant at American Progress, where she supports donor engagement, research, and development operations. Prior to this role, she worked across nonprofit and program-focused positions, gaining experience in coordination, fundraising support, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining organized systems. She is also the founder of Girls Toward Leadership, an initiative that has reached more than 2,000 Afghan girls through education and leadership programs. She holds a degree in political science and media studies from the University of Tulsa. In her free time, she enjoys practicing taekwondo.
