Cavazos

Nina Cavazos is the senior director of institutional giving at American Progress. She comes to American Progress with a decade of nonprofit experience in Washington, D.C. Cavazos is proud of her accomplishments at the Smithsonian; the National Women’s History Museum; and, most recently, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, where she led the organization’s fundraising efforts in support of its mission to invest in Latino/a/x communities and leaders on Capitol Hill. She is thrilled to work with a team of smart, driven, and passionate people who are committed to building a better, more progressive future in America. Cavazos holds a master’s degree in history and loves reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants with friends.
