Serena Zets is a stories specialist for the Advocacy and Outreach department at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Zets oversaw communications at the Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown Law. They earned their bachelor’s degree in sociology from Oberlin College and came to storytelling through a background in community organizing and local journalism in their hometown of Pittsburgh.
