Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, March 3, the Center for American Progress Action Fund and ThinkProgress will host an event marking the 10-year anniversary of ThinkProgress.org and featuring a discussion on the changing digital media landscape.
The digital media landscape has changed drastically in the 10 years since ThinkProgress was founded. The prevalence of smartphones has dramatically accelerated the pace of the news cycle. Social media is the new homepage, with more than half of online adults using two or more social media sites. How has this changed the news? How has this changed reporting on the issues that matter most? How have Americans adapted to receiving information? Where will we be in another 10 years? Panelists will answer these questions and provide expert commentary on the changing digital media landscape.
