Washington, D.C. — On Thursday, April 6, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) for a discussion on the current state of the investigation into Russia’s interference in U.S. democracy and how recent events raise serious concerns about Congress’ ability to conduct a thorough and independent investigation. Rep. Himes is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
The event will also include a panel discussion featuring former Communications Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign Jen Palmieri, former U.S. Special Envoy to Libya Jonathan Winer, and CAP Action Senior Fellow Max Bergmann.
