Gov. Strickland and Experts Analyze the Real Consequences of a Romney Presidency

July 31, 2012, 9:30am – 2:00pm

Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, July 31, Governor Ted Strickland will join the Center for American Progress Action Fund to kick off Romney University, a series of events and paper releases aimed at providing influential policy and opinion makers inside the Beltway and beyond with all they need to know about Governor Mitt Romney’s policy proposals.

Four panel discussions analyzing the true economic costs of a Romney Presidency, the anatomy of Romney’s healthcare plan, the impact Romney’s policies would have on women’s health and economic security, and the implications of Romney’s foreign policy agenda will follow Governor Strickland’s keynote.

Each conversation will feature CAP Action staff and prominent outside experts discussing CAP Action’s new reports on Gov. Romney’s policy proposals. These reports as well as one-page summaries of the analyses will be provided at the event.
