Washington, D.C. — The Latino vote played a pivotal role in the 2016 election across battleground states. Yet, the results of the election prompted a divisive debate over Latino voter turnout and performance. On Tuesday, December 6, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host a panel of experts to expose the real story behind the controversy regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s support among Latinos.
CAP Action’s Angela Kelley, Latino Decisions’ Matt Barreto, The Raben Group’s Estuardo Rodriguez, and political adviser Emmy Ruiz will also take a closer look at the exit polls, robust voter engagement operations, and the policies needed to increase Latino turnout in future cycles.
