Washington, D.C. — One of the defining challenges of our time is to develop an economic strategy for our nation to lead the world in sustained growth in a way that provides for broadly shared prosperity. While there has been much talk about the need to address lagging wages, the middle-class squeeze, and growing income inequality, there has been little in the way of a comprehensive policy proposal in Congress. On Monday, January 12, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who will lay out an action plan to grow the paychecks of all—not just the wealthy few.
