Toronto — The upcoming Global Progress Action Summit on May 9 will feature Diana Fox Carney in conversation with Jonathan Haidt, author of The Anxious Generation, addressing the responsibility of governments and leaders to curb the youth digital crisis.
The discussion is among several taking place during the daylong event featuring progressive leaders and policy experts from around the world.
Against a backdrop of global insecurity and a growing authoritarianism, these leaders across politics and civil society will advance a new vision of political power, governance, and cooperation. They will discuss how movements and nations must work together to defend peace, counter authoritarianism, fight corruption, and ensure democracy can deliver tangible results that solve the problems people face in their daily lives.
