Washington, D.C. — Overnight, the Wisconsin Senate acted without key members of its chamber to advance legislation aimed at crippling workers’ organizing rights under the auspices of trying to achieve fiscal austerity. The Center for American Progress Action Fund’s David Madland, Heather Boushey, and Donna Cooper are available to comment on the long-term effects of this move, as well as the state and national ramifications on labor and the middle class.

To speak with David Madland, Director of the American Worker Project; Heather Boushey, Senior Economist; or Donna Cooper, Senior Fellow; contact Megan Smith at 202.741.6346 or [email protected].
