Washington, D.C. — In anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, which paved the way for the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the following Center for American Progress Action Fund experts are available to comment on the legacy of the march, the need to save the Voting Rights Act and protect against efforts to roll back our progress, and the push for a policy agenda that advances economic and racial justice 50 years after the civil rights era:
