Washington, D.C. — With the November election less than six weeks away, state and local leaders in Michigan are taking decisive action to ensure that every person can vote safely during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With high turnout expected and a record number of voters planning to cast their ballot by mail, it has never been more important for state and local elected officials to work together to facilitate voter registration and participation, recruit and retain poll workers, and promote voter education.
Please join the Center for American Progress Action Fund, the Democratic Governors Association, and the National Conference of Democratic Mayors on Thursday, Sept. 24, for a discussion with Michigan leaders about the steps they are taking to make sure every Michigander can vote in November.
