Washington, D.C. — Days before the October 5 deadline for Dreamers to renew Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and to bring further attention to the ongoing fight to protect Dreamers, the Center for American Progress Action Fund—in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, MomsRising, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, Immigration Equality, United We Dream, and Advocates for Youth—will be hosting a rally for the Dream Act on Tuesday, October 3, with a special focus on women, families, and the LGBTQ community. A distinguished group of women senators and other speakers at the rally will discuss the uncertain future that people are currently facing as mothers of Dreamers, Dreamers with children, LGBTQ Dreamers, and others.
