Washington, D.C. — Under the House Republican tax plan, America’s small businesses are at great risk. Giant corporations stand to receive massive tax giveaways while the vast majority of small businesses get nothing. All the while, the plan guts key investments in infrastructure, education, and vital programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, placing an outsize burden on communities and the small businesses that serve them. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, the Center for American Progress Action Fund and the Main Street Alliance Action Fund will host an event and panel discussion to consider the impact of tax reform on small business, keynoted by remarks from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
