NEW ANALYSES: GOP BUDGET PROPOSES MORE OF THE SAME FAILED CONSERVATIVE POLICIES

WASHINGTON, DC— New analyses from the Center for American Progress Action Fund (CAPAF) show that the new GOP budget plan contains more of the same failed conservative policies that got us into this economic crisis. Specifically, the new GOP plan will:

· Give a $1.5 million tax cut to the average CEO and massive tax breaks to big corporations and the wealthiest Americans

· Privatize Medicare by 2021, leading to lower benefits and higher costs for seniors.
