On Friday, November 22, as Congressional Republicans hold a staged ‘field hearing’ on the Affordable Care Act, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host a press call to expose the anti-Obamacare sabotage campaign in North Carolina and share stories of North Carolinians who benefit from the law. On the call, the speakers will detail the numerous ways Republican lawmakers at both the federal and state level are obstructing implementation of the law and making it more difficult for people to understand how to take advantage of the law’s benefits. The call will also feature two North Carolina residents who benefit from the new health care law and asked to participate in the Republican-led field hearing, but were ignored.
