Washington, D.C. — Today, opponents of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) unveiled their latest plan to repeal and replace the health care law. The Center for American Progress Action Fund will be holding a rapid-response press call to walk through new CAP analysis of this latest repeal framework and discuss efforts to block the repeal plan and hold members accountable.
The release of this latest repeal plan comes during the same week that the House Budget Committee will mark up its fiscal year 2019 budget resolution, which will reportedly include reconciliation instructions—the same mechanism that congressional Republicans utilized to fast-track repeal last year.
