Washington, D.C. — At a press conference Tuesday, Arizonans will join Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee, for a press conference to stand against the Senate tax bill. These Arizonans are opposed to the Senate tax bill—which is slated for a vote this week—because it delivers huge tax cuts to millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations; raises taxes on millions of middle-class and working Americans; and threatens investments such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
The Arizonans in Washington, D.C., this week include a business owner who is also a single mom and breast cancer survivor; a juvenile public defender; two graduate students; and two public school teachers.
