Washington, D.C. — Since taking office less than a year ago, the Trump administration has taken dozens of actions, big and small, to roll back protections for the environment. From blocking action on climate change to weakening clean air and water protections, it can be hard to keep track of every move.
To help monitor these attacks, the Center for American Progress Action Fund has created a one-stop webpage that tracks everything the Trump administration has done, and will do, to sacrifice the environment and public health to the highest bidder. CAP Action will update the webpage every time the Trump administration launches new attacks on the nation’s bedrock environmental and public health protections.
Many of the administration’s attacks on the environment have escaped high-profile scrutiny because of the nonstop scandals and controversial statements that keep flowing from the White House. While President Donald Trump continues to tweet whatever comes to mind, his administration has steadily pushed an anti-environmental agenda that benefits polluting companies at the expense of American families.
The new CAP Action webpage is a convenient way to hold the administration accountable for all the damage it is doing to weaken bedrock environmental laws that protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the future of our public lands.
