Democrats have once again defied the historical odds and delivered major victories at the ballot box under President Biden—and they’ve been successful because they’re fighting to make people’s lives better and protect their freedoms.
From Virginia to Kentucky, voters clearly recognized that today’s elections were yet again a choice between extremism and progress. They understand that MAGA Republicans are hell-bent on ripping away our rights, politicizing our children’s education, and attacking our democracy. Voters backed the Democratic agenda to grow the economy by growing the middle class, protect our freedoms, and achieve real community safety and justice by prioritizing both accountability and prevention.
Americans have demonstrated that they understand the assignment. While the media continues to obsess itself with horse-race polling at the expense of reporting on the existential threats MAGA extremism poses to the country, can it say the same?
