“Senators will be held accountable”
Republican senators know that Trump is guilty—they admitted as much in their public statements before they voted to block witness testimony. They just refuse to hold him accountable, choosing instead to cover up his crimes by holding a sham impeachment trial.
As Rep. Adam Schiff said yesterday, “It will be up to the senators to make that final judgment, and the senators will be held accountable for it.”
