Tell your lawmakers: Pass the Dream and Promise Act
Countless lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have pledged their support for Dreamers and other immigrants targeted by Trump’s cruel immigration agenda. Now, they have a chance to back up their words with action.
Tomorrow, the House will vote on the American Dream and Promise Act of 2019 (H.R.6), a landmark bill that would offer a path to citizenship for 2.5 million Dreamers and other immigrants who have lived in the U.S. for decades.
These immigrants and their families are integral to our country. They contribute $27 billion in annual state and federal tax revenue and have a combined $75 billion in annual spending power. Their lives, families, jobs, and communities are here, and the United States is their home.
