Gus Duran is the social media strategist for the Digital Advocacy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, he worked as a digital strategist for two Washington, D.C.-based startups.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where he studied political science and history. Outside of work, he loves experimenting with new recipes and is an avid supporter for the Miami Heat and #HeatCulture.
