Jeremy Berns is the director of research for the Advocacy and Outreach department at American Progress. Most recently, he worked as the deputy research director at Senate Majority PAC, where he helped win races around the country and expand the Democratic majority in the Senate. Prior to that, he worked as an independent consultant for various clients in the government, nonprofit, and political space.
He also served as the deputy research director for Cory Booker’s 2020 presidential campaign and worked on the research staff at the Democratic National Committee and for Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016.
Berns earned an undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College, where he majored in political science and minored in business administration.
