Mercy I. Marquez is the senior analyst for the Digital Advocacy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Marquez developed analytics practices for companies in the financial and technology sectors. She graduated magna cum laude from Pennsylvania State University with bachelor’s degrees in management information systems and economics with concentrations in international, development, and transition economics and economics of business and law. Marquez hails from northeast Pennsylvania and enjoys rock climbing, reading, volunteering, and word games.
