Trump promised every American “great” health care, and he’s promised time and again to protect people with preexisting conditions. His administration has instead done everything it can to repeal the ACA.

Rather than keep his promise to lower drug prices, Trump chose a former pharmaceutical executive who supervised a 300% increase in the cost of insulin as his administration’s HHS secretary. Then, his administration gave a massive tax cut to pharmaceutical companies.
Meanwhile, people are dying because they can’t afford their medications. Jazmine Baldwin’s sister, Jada, tragically passed away because of the fatally high cost of insulin. That’s tragic—and the Trump administration’s inaction is essentially guaranteeing that this tragedy will happen again and again.
