How the White House is putting our kids at risk

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

“If the Affordable Care Act goes away, [my daughter] is in jeopardy for the rest of her life.”

Thanks to the Trump administration’s attacks on the Affordable Care Act, this is a serious worry for any parent whose child has a preexisting condition.

One mother watched Trump’s celebration of the House repeal vote with disgust: “I watched [Trump] slap these congressmen on the back…The joy with which he celebrated, it sticks with me every single day.”

That bill narrowly failed, but Trump’s administration is breaking his promise to protect people with preexisting conditions again by backing a bogus lawsuit that would repeal the ACA and strip those protections away from kids like Colleen’s daughter.

Trump should stop lying about protecting these millions of Americans and drop the lawsuit. Instead, his administration has spent three years attacking the ACA through Congress and the courts. Meanwhile, protections for the 135 million Americans with preexisting conditions—including children like Colleen’s daughter—hang in the balance.
