she/her
Allie Schneider is a research associate for Early Childhood Policy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, she was a Southern Education Leadership Initiative fellow at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, where her work focused on improving equity in statewide public education funding. She also previously interned at Zero to Three as a researcher and writer for the 2021 State of Babies Yearbook, an annual policy report of national and state data on infant and toddler well-being. Schneider is from Atlanta and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from Yale University, where she also completed certificates in education studies and statistics and data science.
