Washington, D.C. — In Spring 2021, in the midst of a global pandemic and following a long personal battle with cancer, Neil King, Jr. set out to rediscover what matters in life and to see our national story with new eyes. His forthcoming book, American Ramble: A Walk of Memory and Renewal, documents his ensuing 26-day walk from Washington, D.C., to New York City, and the people and places he encountered that changed his perspective.
Please join the Center for American Progress Action Fund for a live podcast event with King, a former Wall Street Journal reporter and editor, about this story of personal and national renewal. “The Tent” is a weekly podcast produced by the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
