Sam Reid is the director of digital engagement for the Advocacy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Reid interned for USA Today and worked in the tech marketing industry before ultimately relocating to Washington, D.C., to advocate for equitable health care policy. Her most recent role was digital director at Patients For Affordable Drugs, a patient advocacy organization.
Reid studied English literature at Roosevelt University in Chicago and graduated with honors in 2014. A Midwesterner at heart, in her free time, you can most often find Reid watching her beloved White Sox or trying to find the best hot dog in Washington, D.C.
